Valet-Tech :: Lease Return

Have a no-obligation independent inspection from us, and then compare with your lease company.

We guarantee to save you money, on average 40% in comparison.

Refurbishment charges

Lease companies lose money on a car if it is not in good condition, so obviously they must cover their costs. Therefore, you are charged for repairs and possibly devaluation. Lease companies inspect cars twice and then double check. Even a minor scuff is included, which may set your repair bill into thousands of pounds.

How we can help?

We inspect your car thoroughly and provide you with an inspection report which lists all the damage to the vehicle. There may be damage which will fail and some will be fair wear and tear. We also provide you with a report stating which damage to have repaired. It is this report where our expertise will save you time and money. You are under no obligation to have the work carried out with us and there is no pressure from us whatsoever. You are welcome to take the report away and even discuss it with your lease company. Our aim is to save YOU money!

What next?

Whether your lease company provides you with a pre-inspection report, or we carry out a full inspection and valet, or even if you inspect the vehicle yourself, we can carry out all the repairs under the same roof. You will save time and money. We advise you on the obvious repairs and also on the not so obvious.

Don’t pay for refurbishment at dealership prices

You don’t have to go to a main dealer to get your repairs done. The BVRLA guide will tell you that you can have the repairs done anywhere as long as they are to an acceptable standard. We are registered with BVRLA and can tell you what is and what isn’t acceptable. Just book your lease car with us for an inspection/valet and we will guarantee to save you money.

Five questions we recommend you must ask before you return your lease car.

  • Ask the lease company if you have to pay for excess wear and tear ie, small dents, scuffed bumpers, scratches and kerbed wheels.
  • Ask them how much you will be charged for the damage and if they can provide you with a list of charges.  If they can’t provide you with a list, then maybe a quote for specific items of damage.
  • Does the lease company inspect cars to the BVRLA fair wear & tear standard or do they have their own variations and if they could provide you with a copy.
  • Do they give the option of a pre-inspection which will tell you what you are likely to be charged for and will give you a chance to put it right yourself?
  • Does the lease company require you to have the car valeted before it is returned?
